Debi Mazar

Debi Mazar Corcos is an American actress and television personality. She began her career in the New York City club scene in the early 1980s, working as a doorperson at the Mudd Club and Danceteria, selling jewelry at Fiorucci, and working as a dental assistant. After meeting Madonna at Danceteria, she was hired to do makeup for Madonna's 1982 video "Everybody" and subsequently appeared in six of her music videos. Mazar also originated the hair and makeup for the 1988 play Speed-the-Plow and made her initial television appearance as a b-girl on the 1984 pilot Graffiti Rock.

Mazar made her major television debut as legal secretary Denise Iannello on the legal drama Civil Wars, later reprising the character on L.A. Law. Throughout the 1990s, she appeared in supporting and minor film roles, including Goodfellas, The Doors, Malcolm X, Bullets Over Broadway, Batman Forever as Spice, Beethoven's 2nd as Regina, and The Insider. She also starred in independent films such as Inside Monkey Zetterland and Nowhere, as well as the sitcom Temporarily Yours.

During the 2000s, Mazar played Jackie on That's Life, provided the voice of Maria Latore in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and appeared in a cameo role in Collateral. From 2004 to 2011, she portrayed press agent Shauna Roberts on the HBO series Entourage. Her television work during this period also included recurring and guest roles on Living with Fran, Ugly Betty, and Friends, as well as competing on the ninth season of Dancing With the Stars.

From 2015 to 2021, Mazar played Maggie Amato on the TV Land series Younger. Her subsequent television projects include playing Ava Gardner in the Spanish period series Arde Madrid, Medusa in the Netflix series KAOS, and Magda in the Australian drama series Ladies in Black. She has also appeared as a contestant on game shows including The $100,000 Pyramid.

In addition to acting, Mazar has worked on culinary projects alongside her husband, Gabriele Corcos. Together, they hosted the internet series Under The Tuscan Gun and the scripted Cooking Channel series Extra Virgin, followed by the travel spin-off Extra Virgin Americana. They co-authored the 2014 cookbook Recipes & Love From Our Tuscan Kitchen and operated the Brooklyn cafe Tuscan Gun between 2020 and 2021.
