Fiona Palomo

Fiona Palomo, born Fiona Alexa Estrada on October 12, 1998, is a Mexican and American actress and vocalist. Holding dual citizenship in both Mexico and the United States, she was born in Los Angeles, California, to creative parents Eduardo Estrada Palomo and Carina Ricco.

Palomo began her professional acting career on television in 2013 with an appearance in the series Gossip Girl: Acapulco. She gained wider audience recognition through her television roles in the years that followed, notably playing María Alexander in the 2020 show Control Z. She achieved further prominence after being cast as Sofia in the popular drama series Outer Banks, appearing across its third, fourth, and fifth seasons from 2023 through 2026.

In addition to her television work, Palomo expanded into feature films. She made her motion picture debut in the 2022 comedy ¡Qué despadre!, a performance that earned her the "Silvia Pinal" Silver Goddess Award for Best New Actress. Following this initial success, she took on major roles in several films, starring as Mary in the 2023 project Journey to Bethlehem, Sandra Navarro in the 2023 drama Bad Actor, and Vivi in the 2024 film El roomie.

Her work in Bad Actor brought substantial critical acclaim within the Mexican film industry. For her leading performance as Sandra Navarro, she was nominated for the Ariel Award for Best Actress, which represents Mexico's premier national film honor. Additionally, her role in the film earned her the Diosa de Plata for Best Actress from the Mexican cinema journalists.

Palomo continues to work on high-profile film projects. She is set to feature in the upcoming sports film Baton, which marks the directorial debut of Danny Ramirez. In this project, she appears as part of an ensemble cast that includes Ramirez, Lewis Pullman, Diego Calva, Maia Reficco, Ester Expósito, Eugenio Derbez, and Noah Beck.
