Lauren Morais

Lauren Albertina Morais is a Welsh television actor known for her appearances in various drama series across television and streaming platforms.

Morais was raised in Llanrumney, a district in Cardiff, Wales. She completed her secondary education at Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern before pursuing professional performing arts training. She went on to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, graduating in 2023.

Her early acting work includes a role in the S4C production Y Gyfrinach, also known as The Secret. In 2021, she collaborated with the National Youth Theatre of Wales on Mari Izzard's project Sian of Arc. Around this time, she also appeared in the Welsh television drama Tree on a Hill.

Morais's career expanded with notable roles in several television series. In 2024, she portrayed the character Lucy Popkin in the mystery drama series The Red King, which is set in Wales. The following year, she appeared in the Paramount+ crime drama adaptation The Crow Girl.

She secured a prominent role alongside Erin Richards, who played her character's magistrate mother, in the dual-language production Mudtown, also known as Ar y Ffin, participating in both the Welsh and English versions of the show.

In November 2025, Morais was cast in the role of Lisa Molinari for the Marvel television series VisionQuest.
