Erin Heatherton

Erin Heather Bubley, known professionally as Erin Heatherton, is an American former model. Born on March 4, 1989, she is best known for her work in fashion, including serving as a Victoria's Secret Angel from 2010 to 2013.

Heatherton was born and raised in Skokie, Illinois, by her parents, Laura and Mark Bubley. Raised in an Ashkenazi Jewish household, she attended Solomon Schechter Day School and Niles North High School. During her youth, she participated in science fairs and played basketball for her high school team.

Her modeling career began when she was discovered on South Beach, Miami, by scout Arri Taylor while on vacation with a friend. At 17 years old, she signed with the Marilyn Agency, moved to New York City, and made her runway debut in September 2006 for Diane von Fürstenberg. Heatherton went on to walk in shows for major fashion houses, including Chanel, Prada, Stella McCartney, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Tommy Hilfiger, and Marc Jacobs. She booked her first magazine cover with Italy's Flair at age 17 and subsequently appeared on covers for publications such as Elle, GQ, Grazia, Velvet, and Muse. She was also featured in editorial spreads for Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and V, and starred in commercial campaigns for Diesel, Versace, H&M, Armani, and Karl Lagerfeld.

In 2008, Heatherton made her first appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She became an official Victoria's Secret Angel from 2010 to 2013, appearing in numerous advertisements, television commercials, and a billboard in Manhattan for the brand's launch of the "Showstopper" line. She signed with IMG in June 2013 and went on to participate in the 2014 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Heatherton modeled in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues in 2015 and 2016, served as a brand ambassador for Curve Sport and the NFL Women's Apparel Collection, and signed with London's Select Model Management in 2019.

In February 2021, Heatherton transitioned into business by co-founding Resistance Chicago Lagree, a group fitness studio located in Chicago, alongside her husband. She publicly noted that launching the studio allowed her to pursue an authentic post-modeling career focused on body positivity and fitness.

Heatherton lives in Chicago and is the godmother of model Lily Aldridge's daughter. Outside of modeling and business, she has supported charitable causes such as the Global Poverty Project and the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park. Her personal life has included dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio from late 2011 to late 2012. She announced her engagement to Polish American trader Karol Kocemba in March 2022, married him in January 2023, and welcomed a daughter in April 2024.
