About

Born on November 15, 1985, in Santa Monica, California, Lily Maud Aldridge grew up in an artistic and fashion-oriented family. She is the daughter of English artist Alan Aldridge and former model Laura Lyons. Raised between California and London, Aldridge was exposed to creative industries at a young age, with several of her siblings, including half-brother Miles Aldridge and sister Ruby Aldridge, also pursuing successful careers in fashion photography and modeling.

Modeling Career

Aldridge began modeling during her teenage years, securing early commercial campaigns with brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, GAP, Levi's, and Tommy Hilfiger. Her breakthrough in high-fashion modeling came when she landed the cover of Spanish Vogue at age 17. In 2009, she made her debut on the runway for the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, becoming an official Victoria's Secret Angel the following year—a title she held until 2018. In 2014, she reached another career milestone by gracing the 50th anniversary cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue alongside models Chrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal. Throughout her career, she has walked for luxury fashion houses and appeared in top editorials including Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ.

Beyond traditional modeling, Aldridge has ventured into design and brand collaborations. She launched a capsule clothing collection, Lily Aldridge for Velvet, and later created her own self-titled fragrance line, Lily Aldridge Parfums. She has also appeared in high-profile entertainment projects, including Taylor Swift's music video for Bad Blood and cameo roles in television shows like 2 Broke Girls and the heist film Ocean's 8.
