Ruby Aldridge

Ruby Rose Aldridge, born August 26, 1991, is an American fashion model and singer. She is well known for her extensive modeling work, having served as the face of several major fashion brands and walking in numerous high-profile runway shows.

Aldridge was raised in a creative family as the daughter of former Playboy playmate Laura Lyons and British artist and graphic designer Alan Aldridge. She is the younger sister of fashion model Lily Aldridge. Her siblings also include two brothers, Franco Aldridge (known as Franco Evans) and artist Miles Aldridge, as well as a half-sister, fashion model and freelance journalist Saffron Aldridge.

Her modeling career began in 2005 after being discovered when her sister Lily introduced her to the fashion world. She went on to sign with agencies including NEXT Model Management, Modelwerk, and Chic Management. Outside of modeling, she made a television appearance on The Young and the Restless in 2008.

Between 2008 and 2012, Aldridge established herself as the face of several prominent brands. She became the face of Coach in 2008, Marc by Marc Jacobs in 2010, Valentino in 2011, and CK One Cosmetics in 2012. Throughout her career, she has represented brands such as Calvin Klein, Theory, Urban Outfitters, Carolina Herrera, Nordstrom, Just Cavalli, Lacoste, Zac Posen, and Emporio Armani.

During the 2011 fall fashion week, Aldridge opened four fashion shows, which placed her seventh for the total number of show openings that week. Over the course of her career, she has walked in nearly 200 fashion shows for major designers and fashion houses, including Alberta Ferretti, Missoni, Sonia Rykiel, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, and Marc Jacobs.

In print media, Aldridge has appeared on the covers of Harper's Bazaar, L'Express Styles, and L'Officiel. She has also been featured in major magazine spreads for publications such as The New York Times and Vanity Fair, as well as international editions of Vogue in countries including the United States, Italy, China, Russia, and Latin America.

In addition to her career in fashion and television, Aldridge is active in music. She is a member of a band called Texture alongside artist Bozidar Brazda.
