AnnaLynne McCord

AnnaLynne McCord is an American actress and model best known for her television roles as Eden Lord on Nip/Tuck, Loren Wakefield on American Heiress, and Naomi Clark on 90210. Known for portraying vixen-type characters, she has worked across television, feature films, and theater. In 2024, she joined the cast of the daytime drama Days of Our Lives, receiving a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series.

McCord was born on July 16, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Shari McCord and David McCord, a Christian pastor. Raised in Buford and Monroe, Georgia, she grew up in a trailer park under modest circumstances alongside her two sisters, Rachel and Angel. She was homeschooled by her mother under strict household discipline and graduated from high school at the age of 15.

After graduating, McCord joined the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in Miami. At age 17, she attended a drama school in New York City before moving to Los Angeles a year later to pursue acting auditions. Her early career featured roles in the 2005 film Natale a Miami, the 2008 remake Day of the Dead, and television appearances on Close to Home and The O.C. She also starred in the limited-run serial American Heiress and was cast in Rules of Deception, which ultimately never aired.

McCord achieved widespread recognition in 2007 for playing the scheming character Eden Lord in the fifth season of Nip/Tuck. In 2008, she secured the role of Naomi Clark on the drama series 90210. Though initially conceived as a supporting character, McCord's portrayal expanded, leading media outlets to identify her as the show's lead by the end of its first season. She portrayed the character until the series ended in 2013.

During and following her time on 90210, McCord pursued diverse acting projects. She appeared Off-Broadway in Love, Loss, and What I Wore in 2011 and received critical praise for her role in the 2012 film Excision. She later joined TNT's Dallas in a recurring role during its third season, played the lead in the 2015 film Watch Your Back, and starred in First We Take Brooklyn in 2018. In June 2024, she debuted in her role on Days of Our Lives.

Beyond her acting career, McCord has been involved in several advocacy efforts. She supported the St. Bernard Project following Hurricane Katrina and partnered with the UN Women for Peace Association to promote the anti-abuse No More Campaign. She also founded the Love Storm Tour, a global meditation initiative aimed at raising awareness about human trafficking. In addition, she has spoken publicly about her mental health, including her treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and her 2021 diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder.

McCord was in an extended on-and-off relationship with actor Dominic Purcell between 2011 and 2022. She later became engaged to former rugby player Danny Cipriani after he proposed on Christmas Day 2025 at her home in Los Angeles. The couple married in August 2026.
