Juan Fernández de Alarcón

Juan de Jesús Fernández de Alarcón, born December 13, 1956, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a Dominican actor and former model. Before establishing his screen acting career in Hollywood, he worked extensively as a fashion model. During his modeling career, he represented prominent designers including Yves Saint-Laurent, Nino Cerruti, Zandra Rhodes, Ossie Clark, and Giorgio di Sant'Angelo. He also served as a model for Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí.

Fernández made his film debut in the 1972 movie Salomé. Moving into film and television work throughout the 1980s, he became widely recognized for playing antagonist characters in action, thriller, and drama films. Notable early screen appearances include his roles in Oliver Stone's drama Salvador (1986) and the action comedy Crocodile Dundee II (1988), alongside appearances in feature films such as Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects (1989) and Cat Chaser (1989).

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Fernández continued to act in international cinema and American feature films. He appeared in projects such as Liquid Dreams (1991), Aces: Iron Eagle III (1992), and Necronomicon (1993). Later career highlights include featured roles in the action film A Man Apart (2003), the drama The Lost City (2005), and the horror film The Collector (2009). Over a career spanning several decades, he has accumulated dozens of film and television credits across multiple genres.
