Chace Crawford

Christopher Chace Crawford is an American actor and model. He is widely recognized for playing Nate Archibald on the teen drama series Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012, and Kevin / The Deep in the satirical superhero series The Boys (2019–2026) and its related franchise.

Crawford was born on July 18, 1985, in Lubbock, Texas, to Chris, a dermatologist, and Dana, a teacher. He was raised as a Southern Baptist alongside his younger sister, Candice. After living in Bloomington, Minnesota, during his early childhood, his family returned to Texas and settled in Plano. During high school, he worked at an Abercrombie & Fitch store and modeled for Hollister. After graduating from Trinity Christian Academy in 2003, he studied broadcast journalism and marketing at Pepperdine University before dropping out to pursue acting, temporarily working as a car valet.

Crawford made his film debut in the 2006 supernatural horror-thriller The Covenant. In March 2007, he made his television debut when he landed the main role of Nate Archibald on Gossip Girl. During this period, he starred in the films Loaded (2008), The Haunting of Molly Hartley (2008), and Twelve (2010), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He also appeared in Leona Lewis's 2009 music video for "I Will Be" and participated in a public service announcement for Do Something's Teens for Jeans campaign.

Between 2011 and 2018, Crawford took on diverse roles across film and television. He appeared in Peace, Love & Misunderstanding (2011), What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012), Mountain Men (2014), Eloise (2017), Undrafted (2016), Rules Don't Apply (2016), and I Do... Until I Don't (2017). His feature film work also includes roles in Charlie Says (2018), All About Nina (2018), Nighthawks (2019), and Inheritance (2020). On television, he guest-starred on Glee, played the lead in the short-lived drama Blood & Oil, held a recurring role on Casual, and made a cameo on Saturday Night Live.

In 2018, Crawford was cast as Kevin Moskowitz / The Deep in the Amazon Studios series The Boys, a role he also voiced in the animated spin-off series The Boys Presents: Diabolical. His later projects include voice acting for the English-language version of the anime film Belle (2022) and starring in the ensemble comedy Reunion. Crawford was named "Summer's Hottest Bachelor" by People in 2009.
