Leslie Bibb

Leslie Louise Bibb, born November 17, 1973, is an American actress and model. She first received wider attention playing Brooke McQueen on the WB series Popular from 1999 to 2001. She later portrayed journalist Christine Everhart in Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, including Iron Man and Iron Man 2. Her television roles in the 2020s include Grace Sampson on Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy, Dinah Donahue on Apple TV's Palm Royale, and Kate in season three of HBO's The White Lotus.

Bibb was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, and raised in Lovingston, Virginia. After her father died three years after her birth, she relocated to Richmond, Virginia, with her mother and three older sisters, where she attended Saint Gertrude High School. In 1990, at age 16, Bibb won a nationwide modeling search held by The Oprah Winfrey Show and the Elite Agency, judged by John Casablancas, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Iman.

Bibb began television acting in 1996 on Pacific Blue and Home Improvement, followed by her film debut in Private Parts. After taking the female lead in the second season of The Big Easy, she made her career breakthrough starring as Brooke McQueen on Popular in 1999. The role earned her a Teen Choice Award for Television Choice Actress and a Young Hollywood Award nomination. During the series, she filmed the box-office success The Skulls, followed by the 2001 comedy See Spot Run.

Bibb subsequently secured recurring and main roles on ER, Line of Fire, Crossing Jordan, and the unaired sitcom Atlanta. She appeared in the independent film Wristcutters: A Love Story, which earned multiple festival nominations, and played Carley in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Her subsequent projects included Sex and Death 101, The Midnight Meat Train, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Kings, and Law Abiding Citizen.

In 2010, Bibb reprised her role as Everhart in Iron Man 2, which grossed $621.8 million worldwide. She also starred in and co-produced the comedy Miss Nobody, winning the Best Actress Award at the 26th Boston Film Festival. Her later projects include The Zookeeper, GCB, Rhett & Link's Buddy System, American Housewife, The Babysitter, Tag, God's Favorite Idiot, About My Father, Palm Royale, and The White Lotus. A guest role in Hacks earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

In addition to acting and modeling, Bibb became a brand ambassador for Almay in 2008 and served as national spokesperson for Life Insurance Awareness Month in 2010. She has supported Friends of El Faro and posed nude for Allure magazine in May 2012. Bibb was married to Rob Born from 2003 to 2004, and she has been in a relationship with actor Sam Rockwell since 2007.
