Linda Evangelista

Linda Evangelista is a Canadian fashion model who rose to international prominence in the late 1980s and 1990s as one of the world's most recognizable supermodels. Known for her versatility and frequent hairstyle and color transformations, she earned the moniker of the fashion industry's "chameleon." Over her career, she has appeared on more than 700 magazine covers worldwide and served as a major muse to leading fashion photographers and designers.

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Evangelista began modeling locally before signing with Elite Model Management in the 1980s and moving to New York City. Her career surged after adopting a short haircut in 1988 at the suggestion of photographer Peter Lindbergh.
