Andrew Bachelor

Andrew Bachelor, widely known by his online alias King Bach, is a Canadian-American comedian, actor, and internet personality. He initially earned international recognition through his comedic short-form skits on the video-sharing platform Vine, where he eventually became the most-followed creator in the app's history. Following his viral rise, Bachelor successfully expanded his creative career into mainstream film, television, stand-up comedy, and content production across major digital platforms.

Early Life and Education

Born on June 26, 1988, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Bachelor moved with his family to Florida at a young age. He attended Coral Springs Charter School in Coral Springs, Florida, before enrolling at Florida State University. At FSU, he competed as a high-jump athlete on the track and field team and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management in 2010. Seeking to hone his performing craft, he later moved to Los Angeles, California, to study acting at the New York Film Academy and train with The Groundlings improv theater group.

Digital Stardom and Content Creation

Bachelor launched his YouTube channel, BachelorsPadTv, in 2012, using it as an early outlet for original comedy sketches and parodies. His career reached unprecedented heights on Vine, where his high-energy slapstick routines, relatable humor, and collaborations with fellow creators attracted more than 16 million followers. Leveraging his massive online footprint, he built millions of followers across Instagram and TikTok under the handle kingbach. In addition to online skits, Bachelor has released music videos and released his debut feature-length stand-up comedy special, titled Like, Share, and Comment, on his YouTube channel in June 2026.

Bachelor transitioned to traditional entertainment with a variety of roles in film and television. His movie credits include comedy features such as Fifty Shades of Black (2016), Meet the Blacks (2016), Where's the Money (2017), The Babysitter (2017), When We First Met (2018), To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018), Holidate (2020), and Vacation Friends (2021). On television, he has appeared in series including House of Lies, Black Jesus, The Mindy Project, Wild 'N Out, and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. He also established Bach Enterprises to produce and direct independent media projects.
