Rudy Mancuso

Rodolfo Mancuso, born February 28, 1992, is an American digital creator, musician, director, and actor. He initially achieved recognition for producing short comedy skits alongside his friends on platforms like YouTube and Vine. He is also known for voicing multiple characters in the YouTube puppet project Awkward Puppets and for making his feature filmmaking debut with the 2024 movie Música.

Mancuso grew up in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, with his sister Marianna. He was raised by an Italian-American father and a Brazilian mother. He attended Glen Ridge High School before continuing his studies at Rutgers University Newark. During his early life, he developed musical skills by learning the piano at age five. He also lived in Rio de Janeiro for a period, which contributed to his fluent Portuguese language abilities.

Beginning his digital career on Vine in 2013, Mancuso built a following through real-life skits and recurring Latino characters. In 2016, he teamed up with Shots Studios to establish his official YouTube channel. Together with Shots Studios, he owns the YouTube show Awkward Puppets. Beyond digital platforms, Mancuso made guest appearances on network shows such as Comedy Central's Drunk History and HBO's Outpost, and he co-starred in the YouTube Red holiday special Keys of Christmas alongside Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled.

In 2017, Mancuso performed as the opening act during the Brazilian leg of Justin Bieber's Purpose World Tour. That same year, he walked the runway for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Men's Fashion Week, made appearances at the MTV Millennial Awards in Mexico, and delivered multi-day performances at the Villa Mix festival in Goiânia and São Paulo. He launched his music career in late 2017 with his first single "Black & White," created alongside Poo Bear, followed by his self-directed solo single "Mama" featuring Chantel Jeffries.

Mancuso released additional music projects, including his single "Lento" and the skit-based release "Superhero Therapy" featuring Lele Pons, Anwar Jibawi, and King Bach. In addition to releasing his own music, he directed music videos for Lele Pons's single "Celoso," Alesso's single "REMEDY," and O.A.R.'s "Miss You All The Time." He also recorded a song with Alesso, teamed up with Simon Rex for the video "Storytelling," and covered Queen's "You're My Best Friend" for Netflix's Bohemian Rhapsody and the Mercury Phoenix Trust.

In 2018, Mancuso joined O.A.R. on stage at Red Rocks Amphitheater, co-hosted the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Awards with Lele Pons, and organized the charity event 'Concert for Tommy's Field'. He was honored at the 2018 ALMA Awards with a presentation by Alesso. His commercial work includes sponsored musical comedy projects for companies like Target and Clif Bar, as well as a Brita filter commercial featuring Stephen Curry.

Mancuso lived in Studio City, Los Angeles as of 2020. He was in a relationship with Australian actress Maia Mitchell from 2015 until early 2022. While working on his 2024 film debut Música, he met actress Camila Mendes. The two began dating in July 2022 and got engaged on October 24, 2025.
