Trevor Donovan

Trevor Donovan Neubauer is an American actor, author, and model. He is best known for portraying the role of Teddy Montgomery on the CW teen drama series 90210 from 2009 to 2013.

Donovan was born in Bishop, California, and was raised in Mammoth Lakes. Sources list his birth year as either 1978 or 1982.

Early in his acting career, Donovan had short stints in 2007 on the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives playing the character Jeremy Horton. He subsequently appeared in a minor role in the 2009 science fiction film Surrogates, playing the surrogate form of Bruce Willis's character, Tom Greer.

In June 2009, Donovan was cast in a recurring role as Teddy Montgomery on 90210, first appearing on the series on September 8, 2009. The CW announced on May 20, 2010, that he had been promoted to a series regular. His character notably came out as gay during the show's third season, which premiered on September 13, 2010.

Following his work on television, Donovan was signed in July 2011 for a role in the Oliver Stone film Savages, which was released in July 2012. Although he originally screen-tested for a character that was ultimately edited out, Stone wrote a new part specifically for Donovan after viewing his screen-test recording.

After 90210 concluded, Donovan secured a recurring role in the third season of the television sitcom Melissa & Joey, which starred Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. On September 8, 2022, he was announced as a contestant for season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. Partnered with professional dancer Emma Slater, he completed the competition in sixth place.
