Wilmer Valderrama

Wilmer Eduardo Valderrama is an American actor known for his portrayal of Fez in the sitcom That '70s Show and his role as Special Agent Nick Torres on the procedural drama NCIS. He is also recognized for voicing Agustín Madrigal in the animated film Encanto, main character Manny in the children's animated series Handy Manny, and playing Carlos Madrigal in From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. Additionally, he hosted the MTV series Yo Momma from 2006 to 2007.

Valderrama was born in Miami, Florida, to Balbino A. and Sobeida Valderrama. His father is Venezuelan and his mother is Colombian. At three years old, he relocated to Venezuela, where he spent his childhood before returning to the United States at age 13.

He began his performing career in theater productions including A Midsummer Night's Dream and Rumors. After making his professional debut in a Spanish-language commercial for Pacific Bell, he secured talent representation and landed roles in the miniseries Four Corners and the Disney Channel program Omba Mokomba. He subsequently made his feature film debut in Summer Catch. During his senior year of high school, Valderrama was cast in his breakthrough role as Fez on That '70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006.

Throughout his career, Valderrama has appeared in numerous feature films, including Party Monster, Beauty Shop, Fast Food Nation, Unaccompanied Minors, Larry Crowne, and The Adderall Diaries. In animation, he has provided voice work for Clifford's Really Big Movie, Charming, and Onward. On television, he held recurring roles in Grey's Anatomy and The Ranch, guest-starred in Wizards of Waverly Place and Royal Pains, and joined NCIS as a series regular in 2016, later reprising his role in spin-offs NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Hawaiʻi.

In addition to acting, Valderrama has pursued music, releasing the 2011 single "The Way I Fiesta" under his alter ego Eduardo Fresco. He has also appeared in music videos for Wisin & Yandel, Nomads, and LMFAO. On the business side, he founded the production company WV Entertainment and launched a men's fashion label called Calavena in 2007.

Valderrama is actively involved in philanthropy and advocacy. He has taken part in dozens of tours as a Global Ambassador for the United Service Organizations (USO). In 2017, he co-founded Harness, a non-profit organization focused on representation for marginalized communities. He also serves on the impact council for Voto Latino, previously served as spokesperson for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's Ready to Lead program, and launched the podcast Essential Voices with Wilmer Valderrama in 2021.

In 2013, Valderrama received an ALMA Award for Outstanding Social Activism. He became engaged to Amanda Pacheco in January 2020, and the couple has a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2025. Valderrama is also a car collector who owns the 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser originally featured on That '70s Show.
