Kevin Jonas

Paul Kevin Jonas Jr., born November 5, 1987, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He gained fame as the lead guitarist of the pop rock band Jonas Brothers alongside his younger brothers, singer-songwriters Joe and Nick Jonas. The trio became prominent figures on the Disney Channel in the late 2000s, starring in the television film Camp Rock (2008), its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), and series such as Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream and Jonas.

Jonas was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, and raised in Wyckoff. His mother, Denise Marie, is a former sign language teacher and singer, and his father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., is a songwriter, musician, and former ordained minister. He has three younger brothers: Joe, Nick, and Franklin. As a child, Jonas appeared in television commercials and print advertisements. Although he initially did not plan to pursue music, he became interested after finding a book on playing guitar and practicing on his father's instrument. He attended Eastern Christian High School in North Haledon, New Jersey.

In early 2005, Columbia Records executive Steve Greenberg signed the brothers after listening to their song "Please Be Mine." Taking the name Jonas Brothers, the group released their debut album, It's About Time, in August 2006. After leaving Columbia, the band signed with Hollywood Records in February 2007 and released their self-titled second album, which reached number five on the Billboard 200. They guest-starred in a record-breaking episode of Hannah Montana and subsequently achieved consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 with A Little Bit Longer (2008) and Lines, Vines, and Trying Times (2009).

The band confirmed a hiatus in 2012 and officially split in October 2013 due to creative differences. During this period, Jonas starred in the E! reality series Married to Jonas with his wife, Danielle Jonas. He appeared on the seventh season of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2014 and made a cameo appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Outside of entertainment, Jonas founded the real estate development and construction company Jonas Werner, served as co-CEO of the influencer marketing company The Blu Market, created the food app Yood, and partnered with the video-sharing application We Heart It.

In February 2019, the Jonas Brothers reunited and released their single "Sucker" followed by their fifth studio album, Happiness Begins. They were featured in two Amazon Prime Video documentaries, Jonas Brothers: Chasing Happiness and Happiness Continues, and later starred in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie (2025). Starting in July 2022, Jonas began co-hosting the ABC reality competition series Claim to Fame alongside his brother Franklin. In November 2025, Jonas launched a solo career with his debut single "Changing," which was followed by his second single, "Little Things," in May 2026.

Jonas married Danielle in December 2009 at Oheka Castle after meeting in the Bahamas in May 2007; the couple resides in New Jersey with their two daughters. They co-authored the children's book There's a Rock Concert in My Bedroom, published in April 2022. Jonas appeared on People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list in 2008, placing him in its 21 Club. In April 2021, he publicly supported the NGO GiveIndia during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in June 2024, he revealed he had a basal cell carcinoma removed following a skin cancer diagnosis.
