Lorenzo Fernando Lamas is an American actor born on January 20, 1958. He is also well known for playing Reno Raines in the crime drama series Renegade, Dr. Hollywood on Big Time Rush, Hector Ramirez on The Bold and the Beautiful, and Meap on Phineas and Ferb.

Lamas was born in Santa Monica, California, to Argentine actor Fernando Lamas and Norwegian American actress Arlene Dahl. Raised in Pacific Palisades, California, he moved to New York City in 1971 and graduated from the Admiral Farragut Academy in 1975. His stepmother was swimmer and film star Esther Williams. In 1979, Lamas began studying Taekwondo, earning a third-degree black belt, and eventually earned black belts in Shotokan Karate, Ju jitsu, and Aikido.

After studying at Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop, Lamas secured his first television acting role in 1976. He made an early film appearance as a blond jock in the 1978 musical Grease and guest-starred on television series such as Switch, Fantasy Island, and The Love Boat. His breakthrough arrived after auditioning for the pilot of The Vintage Years, which was retooled into Falcon Crest. Lamas was the only actor to appear in all 227 episodes of the series during its run from 1981 to 1990.

During his time on Falcon Crest, Lamas starred in the 1984 film Body Rock and performed the soundtrack song "Fools Like Me," which reached number 85 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He subsequently established a niche as an action-hero actor, featuring his martial-arts background in low-budget films including the Snake Eater trilogy, Bounty Tracker, Gladiator Cop, and Terminal Justice.

From 1992 to 1997, Lamas starred in the syndicated action drama series Renegade. He later joined the cast of the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2004 to 2006, served as a judge on Are You Hot?, and starred in the family reality series Leave It to Lamas. His work as an executive producer includes the feature films Night of the Warrior, Ulterior Motives, and Mom and Dad Save the World.

Lamas has also performed in stage productions such as The King and I, Dracula, The Fantasticks, and A Chorus Line, and competed on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015. He published his autobiography, Renegade at Heart, in December 2014. Outside of acting, Lamas worked as a commercial helicopter tour pilot for Grand Canyon trips and for HeliNY in New York City, and posted in 2023 that he was working as a safety manager for Vezer Industrial.
