Eiza González Reyna is a Mexican actress and singer born on 30 January 1990 in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the daughter of Glenda, a former model, and has a younger brother named Yulen. Her father died in a motorcycle accident when she was 12 years old, an event that strongly influenced her career. González attended private bilingual schools in Mexico City, including Edron Academy and the American School Foundation, and spent time in Trento, Italy, to learn Italian. From 2003 to 2004, she studied acting at Patricia Reyes Spíndola's M&M Studio before attending Televisa's acting school, Centro de Educación Artística.

Her breakthrough came after producer Pedro Damián cast her as the lead character, Lola Valente, in the 2007 telenovela Lola...Érase una vez. She later returned to Mexico to star in the television series Amores verdaderos (2012) and made her film debut in Casi 30.

Alongside her acting career, González pursued music, signing with EMI Televisa in late 2008. She released her debut solo album, Contracorriente, in Mexico in 2009 and in the United States in 2010, supported by the single "Mi destino soy yo." Her second studio album, Te Acordarás de Mí, was released in 2012 and debuted at number 66 on the Mexican Charts. González co-wrote three tracks on the album, which featured the title track lead single and the radio single "Invisible."

In late 2013, González relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting internationally. She was cast in her first English-speaking role as Santanico Pandemonium in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk till Dawn: The Series (2014–2016). In August 2014, she hosted the MTV Millennial Awards in Mexico City.

González expanded into major film roles, appearing as Darling in Baby Driver (2017), Nyssiana in Alita: Battle Angel (2019), Madame M in Hobbs & Shaw (2019), KT in Bloodshot (2020), Fran in I Care a Lot (2020), Maia Simmons in Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), and Cam Thompson in Ambulance (2022). In 2023, she appeared in the Apple TV+ anthology series Extrapolations.

In 2024, she starred in the Netflix series 3 Body Problem and Guy Ritchie's action-comedy film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, followed by the sci-fi horror film Ash in 2025.
