Park Sung-hoon

Park Sung-hoon, known mononymously as Sunghoon, is a South Korean singer, presenter, and former competitive figure skater. Born on December 8, 2002, he first gained public recognition through his athletic career on the ice before transitioning into entertainment. He is best known as a member of the South Korean boy group ENHYPEN, formed under the music agency Belift Lab.

Before launching a career in music, Sunghoon spent a decade as an international figure skater representing South Korea. During his athletic career, he earned novice gold medals at both the 2015 Asian Figure Skating Trophy and the 2015 Lombardia Trophy. Transitioning to junior competition, he won silver medals at the Asian Figure Skating Trophy in 2016 and 2017, while also competing in the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and national championships prior to retiring from the sport in 2020.

Sunghoon entered the pop music industry in 2020 through the reality survival program I-LAND, co-produced by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment. Finishing sixth in the global public vote on the show, he secured a spot in the final lineup of ENHYPEN. The group officially debuted in November 2020 with their extended play, Border: Day One, and subsequently achieved international commercial success through multi-platinum album releases and major concert tours.

Beyond his musical career, Sunghoon has expanded into television hosting and public ambassadorial roles. He co-hosted the weekly South Korean television music program Music Bank from October 2021 through September 2022. He has also represented South Korean sports culture in official capacities, including serving as a torchbearer for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina and being appointed as a public relations ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee.
