Jennie

Kim Jennie, known mononymously as Jennie, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actress. Born in South Korea and partly raised in New Zealand, she rose to global prominence as a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, which debuted under YG Entertainment in August 2016. As part of Blackpink, she contributed to multiple commercially successful albums and world tours, helping the group become one of the top-selling female music acts internationally.

Jennie made her official debut as a solo artist in November 2018 with the single "Solo," which topped domestic music charts and gained wide international visibility. Over the following years, she expanded her career through high-profile collaborations, including the 2023 track "One of the Girls" with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. That same year, she made her acting debut under the stage name Jennie Ruby Jane in the HBO drama series The Idol. In late 2023, Jennie founded her own record label and management agency, Odd Atelier (OA Entertainment), to handle her solo projects, subsequently signing a solo partnership with Columbia Records.

In addition to her music and acting career, Jennie has established a major presence in the fashion industry. She has served as a global brand ambassador for prominent international fashion houses and commercial brands, including Chanel and Calvin Klein. Jennie continues to release music, participate in creative design partnerships, and direct her creative work through her independent company.
