Jake Sim

Jake Sim, known professionally as Jake, is a Korean-Australian singer, dancer, and entertainer best known as a member of the South Korean boy group ENHYPEN. Born Sim Jae-yun in South Korea in November 2002, he moved to Australia at a young age and spent his formative years in Queensland. Raised with interests in athletics and music, he decided to pursue a singing career after being inspired by performances from prominent K-pop acts. In 2019, he successfully auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment, which led to his relocation to Seoul to train as a musical artist.

Sim gained widespread public attention in mid-2020 as a participant on the reality competition show I-LAND, co-produced by CJ ENM and HYBE Corporation. Throughout the series, he demonstrated consistent artistic growth across vocal and dance challenges. He placed third in the show's grand finale, earning a spot in the final lineup of the seven-member group ENHYPEN. Formed under the agency Belift Lab, the group officially debuted in November 2020 with their first extended play, Border: Day One.

As a vocalist and performer, Sim has played a significant role in ENHYPEN's rapid rise within the international music scene. The group's releases, including studio albums and EPs such as Dimension: Dilemma, Manifesto: Day 1, Dark Blood, Orange Blood, and Romance: Untold, have achieved multi-million sales figures and high placements on global music charts like the Billboard 200. Sim has participated in world concert tours, major global music festivals, and international media appearances. He continues his active career through group recording projects, live events, and promotional campaigns.
