Emily Rios

Emily Clara Rios is an American actress and model who has established a notable career in television and independent cinema. Born on April 27, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, she was raised in El Monte, California, by her Mexican parents. She was professionally discovered by a talent scout while visiting a local shopping mall, leading to her first acting roles in short films during her mid-teens.

Rios gained national attention for her lead role as Magdalena in the 2006 coming-of-age drama film Quinceañera. Her performance helped propel the independent film to critical success, winning both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival. She subsequently built a versatile film career with appearances in feature films such as Vicious Circle, Down for Life, The Winning Season, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, and the critically acclaimed drama If Beale Street Could Talk.

On television, Rios became widely recognized for her recurring role as Andrea Cantillo on the hit AMC drama series Breaking Bad from 2010 to 2013.
