Corey Feldman

Corey Scott Feldman is an American actor and singer who became a prominent teen idol during the 1980s. He is widely recognized for his roles in major youth and comedy films of the era, including Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Gremlins, The Goonies, and Stand by Me. He also formed a notable onscreen partnership with actor Corey Haim, known as "The Two Coreys," starring together in films such as The Lost Boys, License to Drive, and Dream a Little Dream.

Feldman was born on July 16, 1971, in the Reseda neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, to Bob Feldman, a musician, and Sheila Feldman, a cocktail waitress. Raised Jewish, he entered the entertainment industry at the age of three, debuting in a commercial for McDonald's. During his childhood, he appeared in more than 100 television commercials and over 50 television series, including Mork & Mindy, The Bad News Bears, Eight Is Enough, One Day at a Time, Madame's Place, and Cheers. He was granted legal emancipation from his parents at age 15.

Throughout the mid-to-late 1980s, Feldman starred in several high-grossing feature films. He portrayed Teddy Duchamp in Stand by Me (1986) and played vampire hunter Edgar Frog in The Lost Boys (1987), later reprising the character in two direct-to-video sequels. In voice acting, he provided the voice of Donatello in the original live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film and returned for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III. His subsequent screen credits included the CBS series Dweebs and the feature film Tales From The Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood.

Feldman later launched a music career influenced heavily by Michael Jackson. He has released six studio albums, beginning with Love Left in 1992, followed by Still Searching for Soul (1999) with his band Corey Feldman's Truth Movement, Former Child Actor (2002), and the double album Angelic 2 the Core (2016). He created a musical and management entity called Corey's Angels to perform alongside him. Feldman's musical projects have received widespread negative critical responses and internet mockery, though he has continued to perform live, including an appearance at Riot Fest in 2023.

In his adult career, Feldman transitioned heavily into reality television. He reunited with Haim to executive produce and star in the A&E reality series The Two Coreys from 2007 to 2008. He later appeared on shows such as The Surreal Life, Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Wife Swap, Marriage Boot Camp, The Masked Singer, and Dancing with the Stars. In 2013, he published his autobiography, Coreyography.

Feldman is a Democrat and a long-time advocate for animal welfare, adhering to a vegetarian diet since his youth. Over his career, he has received honors such as the Paws of Fame Award from the Wildlife WayStation and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the third annual Young Entertainer Awards in 2018.
