Angie Everhart

Angie Everhart (born Angela Kay Everhart on September 7, 1969) is an American model and actress known for her high-profile fashion campaigns and appearances in film and television. Discovered as a teenager, she became a prominent figure on magazine covers during the late 1980s and 1990s. Beyond her modeling work, Everhart expanded into acting, starring in several Hollywood feature films and television series while establishing herself as a recognizable media personality.

Early Life and Modeling Career

Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, Everhart began her modeling career at age 16 after submitting test photos to an agency. She soon moved to Paris, France, where she built an international modeling portfolio. She became the first redheaded model to grace the cover of Glamour magazine and went on to appear on covers for major fashion publications, including Elle. Everhart featured in multiple editions of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue throughout the 1990s and posed for Playboy in 2000. Her distinct look helped establish her as one of the leading fashion models of her era.

Film and Television Work

Everhart made her feature film debut in the 1993 action-comedy Last Action Hero alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. Following her screen debut, she landed prominent roles in films such as the thriller Jade (1995), the horror-comedy Tales from the Crypt Presents: Bordello of Blood (1996), and the crime film Mad Dog Time (1996). She continued to work regularly in cinema through the late 1990s and 2000s, appearing in titles such as Another 9 1/2 Weeks (1997), Denial (1998), Bare Witness (2001), and Take Me Home Tonight (2011). In television, she made guest appearances on series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and 3rd Rock from the Sun, and participated in reality programs including Celebrity Mole: Yucatan and The Real Gilligan's Island.

Media Projects and Personal Life

Outside of traditional media, Everhart hosted the web series On Air with Angie Everhart, featuring interviews focused on health and wellness, and has advocated for health awareness after undergoing successful treatment for thyroid cancer in 2013. She has a son, Kayden Bobby Everhart, born in 2009. Everhart was previously married to actor Ashley Hamilton from 1996 to 1997 and to Carl Ferro from 2014 to 2018.
