Corbin Bernsen

Corbin Dean Bernsen is an American actor, director, and former model. Born in North Hollywood, California, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Playwriting from the University of California, Los Angeles. Early in his career, he worked as a model and carpenter before landing a role on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope in the 1980s.

Bernsen gained widespread national recognition for playing divorce attorney Arnold Becker on the NBC legal drama series L.A. Law from 1986 to 1994. The role earned him multiple Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. He also portrayed third baseman Roger Dorn in the popular sports comedy film Major League and its sequels, and later spent eight seasons playing retired police detective Henry Spencer on the USA Network comedy-drama series Psych.

In addition to his acting work, Bernsen has expanded into writing, directing, and producing, founding the production banner Home Theater Films to focus on independent and family-oriented feature projects. His additional screen credits include roles in the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and recurring appearances on television series such as The Young and the Restless and The Resident.
