Lee Kwang-soo

Lee Kwang-soo is a South Korean actor, model, and entertainer born on July 14, 1985, in Namyangju, South Korea. He launched his career in the entertainment industry as a model in 2007 and made his acting debut the following year in the sitcom Here He Comes. He achieved widespread recognition through his screen projects and variety show appearances, earning the nickname "Prince of Asia" from his fans.

Following his debut, Lee appeared in the sitcom High Kick Through the Roof. In June 2010, he joined the cast of the SBS variety program Running Man as a regular member. His work on the show elevated his national and international profile, earning him the New Star Award in 2010 and Best Newcomer in Variety in 2011 at the SBS Entertainment Awards. During 2012, he took on supporting roles in the films Wonderful Radio, All About My Wife, and The Scent, as well as the television melodrama The Innocent Man.

In 2013, Lee provided voice work for the animated film Maritime Police Marco and played an antagonist in the period drama Goddess of Fire. He earned his first major film role in the 2014 neo-noir feature Confession, followed by a role as a patient with Tourette syndrome in the medical drama It's Okay, That's Love and an appearance in A Dynamite Family. In 2015, he starred in the film Collective Invention, which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and played the lead in the two-episode drama Puck!. He also served as an ambassador for the 2015 Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo, receiving a trade minister commendation.

Lee starred in the 2016 television series Entourage and the sitcom adaptation The Sound of Your Heart, which performed strongly in South Korea and China. In 2017, he joined the Netflix variety show Busted! as a main cast member. He won praise for his role in the 2018 slice-of-life drama Live and appeared in the comedy film The Accidental Detective 2: In Action. His performance in the 2019 film Inseparable Bros earned him the Baeksang Arts Award for Best Supporting Actor, alongside a Blue Dragon Film Award nomination. He also appeared in Tazza: One Eyed Jack that same year.

Following a car accident in February 2020 that resulted in an ankle injury, Lee departed Running Man in May 2021 to focus on recovery, with his final broadcast appearing in June 2021. He rejoined Busted! for its third season in 2021 and acted in the films A Year-End Medley, The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure, and Sinkhole, receiving another Blue Dragon Film Award nomination for the latter.

Lee returned to television in 2022 with the series The Killer's Shopping List. He was later confirmed for roles in the Disney+ series The Manipulated and the 2025 Netflix crime thriller Karma. In his personal life, it was announced in December 2018 that he had been dating actress Lee Sun-bin for five months.
