Yoon Jeong-han

Yoon Jeong-han, known mononymously as Jeonghan, is a South Korean singer signed under Pledis Entertainment. He is a member of the South Korean boy band Seventeen, its vocal team, and its second sub-unit, JxW.

Jeonghan was born in Hwaseong, South Korea, on October 4, 1995, and has a younger sister. He graduated from Hyangnam High School as a natural science major in 2014 and later enrolled in a master's degree program at Anyang University in 2022, studying K-pop and business administration. Scouted at a subway station, he joined Pledis Entertainment in 2013. During his two-year training period, he appeared on the online reality series Seventeen TV starting from its third season and participated in the Like Seventeen concerts.

Jeonghan officially debuted with Seventeen on May 26, 2015, with the extended play 17 Carat. In September 2021, he released the self-written digital single "Dream" in Korean and Japanese, produced alongside Prismfilter. He covered Mosawo's "Aitai" for the #17Studio series in March 2022 and presented Tokyo FM's radio program School of Lock from April 2022 to December 2023. Despite undergoing elbow surgery in June 2022, he continued performing on Seventeen's Be The Sun World Tour while wearing a brace.

In 2023, Jeonghan starred in the reality show Magic Lamp, filmed in Montpellier, France. After undergoing ankle surgery in December 2023, he returned to activities in March 2024. In June 2024, he formed the sub-unit JxW with bandmate Wonwoo, releasing the single album This Man. The release featured Jeonghan's first commercial solo track, "Beautiful Monster," and broke the first-week sales record for a K-pop sub-unit within four days. Later that year, he co-starred in the travel program Yamazaki Kento and Jeonghan's Miracle Journey in Korea. In January 2025, he released the song "Better Half" featuring the Japanese band Omoinotake.

Jeonghan has maintained high popularity, particularly in Japan, and is nicknamed "Angel" by media and fans because his birth date, October 4, is a homonym for the Korean word for angel. Outside of music, he has served as a brand ambassador for companies such as Banila Co, Acme De La Vie, Acqua di Parma, Speculum, and &honey, while attending Yves Saint Laurent fashion shows in Paris and Berlin. He began mandatory military service as a social worker on September 26, 2024, and completed his service on June 25, 2026.
