Lee Seok-min

Lee Seok-min, born February 18, 1997, and known professionally as Dokyeom or DK, is a South Korean singer managed by Pledis Entertainment. He is best known as a main vocalist for the South Korean boy group Seventeen, where he is a member of its vocal team. Additionally, Lee serves as the leader of Seventeen's subunit BSS alongside members Hoshi and Seungkwan, and is a member of the duo DxS.

Lee was born in Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea, and graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul in 2016. Inspired by South Korean singer Yoon Do-hyun and his band YB, Lee auditioned for Pledis Entertainment in late 2011 with three songs, including YB Band's "Peppermint Candy". In 2013, he began appearing on Seventeen TV, an online reality show broadcasting trainee performances and concerts. His stage name Dokyeom combines Korean characters for path and multitasker, reflecting an effort to pursue multiple artistic avenues.

Lee officially debuted with Seventeen on May 29, 2015, with the release of the extended play 17 Carat. As a main vocalist, he has earned songwriting credits for over ten of Seventeen's tracks. In July 2021, Lee and the rest of Seventeen renewed their contracts with Pledis Entertainment. In March 2018, Lee formed Seventeen's first official subunit, BSS, alongside Seungkwan and Hoshi, releasing the debut single "Just Do It". BSS returned in 2023 with the single album Second Wind and the track "Fighting". In 2026, Lee and Seungkwan formed DxS, releasing a debut extended play in January.

In 2019, Lee made his musical theatre debut as the lead role Arthur in XCalibur, the South Korean production of Artus-Excalibur at the Sejong Center. His performance earned praise from original composer Frank Wildhorn and earned Lee nominations at the 4th Korea Musical Awards and the 2019 Stagetalk Audience Choice Awards. He reprised the role in 2021 at the Blue Square Shinhan Card Hall, and his theatrical work was captured in a live stage album and a 2022 documentary released by EMK Musical Company. Lee has also recorded original soundtracks, including "It's You" in May 2025.

In addition to his performing career, Lee has taken on brand ambassadorships. In June 2023, he and Seungkwan became exclusive models for the cosmetics brand S2nd, and Lee was named an ambassador for the skincare brand AmpleN in 2025. In September 2023, Swiss luxury fashion house Bally named Lee a global brand ambassador following his appearance at its Fall/Winter 2023 Milan Fashion Week presentation. He subsequently represented Bally at additional Milan Fashion Week events and in its 2024 Spring/Summer campaign.

Outside of music, Lee is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys football, volleyball, basketball, and baseball. A fan of the Doosan Bears baseball team, he threw a ceremonial first pitch at a game in April 2023. In January 2025, he revealed he was playing for an amateur baseball club and met with members of South Korea's 2008 Olympics baseball squad on the SBS program Tail to Tail Story.
