Sabrina Impacciatore

Sabrina Impacciatore is an Italian actress born in Rome on March 29, 1968. She is recognized internationally for her television and film performances, including her role as Valentina on the second season of the HBO black comedy drama series The White Lotus and her starring role as Esmeralda Grand in The Paper.

Raised in Rome by a father from Abruzzo and a mother from Sardinia, Impacciatore began her career as a teenage performer. She worked as a comedian and singer on television shows such as Gianni Boncompagni's Non è la RAI and Macao, and also appeared as an impersonator in various variety shows. To self-fund her acting studies in Rome and at the Actors Studio in New York, she worked as a cleaning lady, vacuuming and preparing staging sets.

Impacciatore made her feature film debut in 1999 in Francesco Maselli's Il compagno. Early in her screen career, she encountered challenges in securing leading parts, including a central role in Sergio Castellitto's 2004 film Non ti muovere that ultimately went to Penelope Cruz. She gained critical recognition for her film work in the mid-2000s, earning a David di Donatello nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Paolo Virzì's 2006 film Napoleon and Me, followed by a second nomination for the same award for Wilma Labate's 2007 film Miss F.

Her international breakthrough arrived in 2022 when she joined the second season of the HBO anthology series The White Lotus as the hotel manager Valentina. For her performance, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 75th Emmy Awards. She also won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series alongside her co-stars in 2023.

Following her success on The White Lotus, Impacciatore portrayed a fictionalized version of herself in the second season of Call My Agent - Italia in early 2024. In April 2024, she was cast in a lead role in the American comedy series The Paper. Her subsequent film projects included playing Elena Romano in G20 and Dr. Susanna Pulice in In the Hand of Dante, both released in 2025.

In addition to her screen acting, Impacciatore participated in the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics at Milan's San Siro stadium alongside international performers such as Mariah Carey, Andrea Bocelli, Cecilia Bartoli, and Ghali. In 2026, she also served as a brand ambassador alongside actor Michael Fassbender for the Italian fragrance house Acqua di Parma, appearing in the campaign celebrating the 110th anniversary of its Colonia fragrance.
