Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress who reached global prominence for playing Wonder Woman across the DC Extended Universe. Born in Petah Tikva on April 30, 1985, she grew up in Rosh HaAyin within a Jewish family with roots in several European countries. Encouraged to stay active during her youth, she engaged in various sports and trained in dance for twelve years. Before enlisting in the military, she worked at a fast-food restaurant and as a caregiver. In 2004, her mother submitted her application for the Miss Israel contest, which she won, later representing her country at Miss Universe. She subsequently fulfilled two years of mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces, where she worked as a combat trainer.

During her military service, Gadot was featured in a high-profile photo shoot organized for an international promotional campaign. This appearance elevated her public recognition and led to modeling contracts, including an endorsement for a fragrance line. After completing her service, she briefly pursued law and international studies before transitioning toward performance.
