Han So-hee

Han So-hee, born Lee So-hee on November 18, 1993, in Ulsan, South Korea, is a South Korean actress and model. She initially gained recognition in supporting television roles before establishing herself as a lead actress in high-profile productions such as The World of the Married, Nevertheless, My Name, and Gyeongseong Creature.

Han attended Ulsan High School of Arts, where she focused on fine arts. During her senior year, she relocated to Seoul to reside with her grandmother and supported herself through various part-time jobs. She originally planned to study at a university in France after gaining admission, but was unable to go because she lacked the required 60 million won bank balance for a visa. While working at pubs, modeling, and filming commercials to save money, her talent agency head persuaded her to enter acting.

Her screen debut came in 2016 in SHINee's Tell Me What To Do music video, followed by a minor acting role in Reunited Worlds in 2017. She earned her first main roles in Money Flower in 2017 and 100 Days My Prince in 2018. After appearing in After The Rain and Roy Kim's music video The Hardest Part, she took a supporting role in the 2019 series Abyss.

In 2020, Han achieved a major career breakthrough as Yeo Da-kyung in JTBC's The World of the Married. The show became the highest-rated drama in South Korean cable television history, bringing her wide recognition and a nomination for Best New Actress – Television at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

She continued with lead roles in 2021, starring in Nevertheless and the Netflix revenge drama My Name, which earned her a Baeksang nomination for Best Actress – Television. In 2022, she appeared in Disney+'s Soundtrack#1 and a live-action teaser for the webtoon The Villainess is a Marionette. In 2023, she featured in the music video for Jungkook's single Seven and starred in the historical series Gyeongseong Creature.

Alongside acting, Han has worked as a model since 2016 for brands including CJ Group, J.Estina, Banila Co., Eider, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, L'Oréal, and Giordano International. She later became a global ambassador for Balenciaga, Omega SA, Charles & Keith, Boucheron, Fila, and home appliance brand Shark, as well as the face of Chum Churum soju.
