Go Youn-jung

Go Youn-jung, born on April 22, 1996, in Seoul, South Korea, is an actress and model. She attended Seoul Women's University, where she studied contemporary art. During her college years, she modeled for a senior's photoshoot, leading to her selection as the cover model for issue 771 of the magazine University Tomorrow. Although she initially declined casting offers from entertainment agencies, she joined MAA Entertainment as a model and actress after graduating.

To finance acting lessons, Go worked as a commercial model for brands including Nike, Armani, Ritz Crackers, and SK Telecom. After approximately six months of training, her first professional audition for the film Parasite was unsuccessful, which motivated her to commit seriously to acting. She made her acting debut in 2019 in the television series He Is Psychometric, playing Kim So-hyun.

In 2020, Go made a cameo in The School Nurse Files as student Choi Yoo-jin and gained recognition for her supporting role in Sweet Home as caregiver Park Yu-ri. In 2021, she starred as law student Jeon Ye-seul in Law School. She made her cinema debut in the 2022 espionage thriller film Hunt, portraying Joo Yoo-jeong. Her performance garnered critical acclaim and nominations for Best New Actress at the Buil Film Awards, Grand Bell Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards, and Baeksang Arts Awards.

Go transitioned to lead television roles in late 2022, playing Jin Bu-yeon in Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow, following a cameo as Nak-su in Part 1. In 2023, she starred as Jang Hui-soo in the Disney+ series Moving, earning the Best New Actress Award at both the Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards and the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards. She also made a special appearance in the 2023 series Death's Game.

Go continued her television career in 2025 as obstetrics and gynaecology resident Oh Yi-young in Resident Playbook. Her performance earned her the Best Actress (Television) title at the 2025 FUNdex Awards and an Excellence Award nomination at the Korea Drama Awards. In 2026, she starred in a dual role as Cha Mu-hee and Do Ra-mi in the Netflix series Can This Love Be Translated?, appeared in the JTBC drama We Are All Trying Here, joined the variety show The Secret Friends Club, and was reported to film season two of Moving.

In addition to acting, Go has served as an ambassador and brand muse for luxury houses and commercial brands, including Boucheron, Marithé et François Girbaud, Chanel, Didier Dubot, and Tiffany & Co. South Korean media have referred to her by the sobriquets "face genius" and "MZ Troika."
