Im Nayeon

Im Na-yeon, known mononymously as Nayeon, is a South Korean singer born on September 22, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea. She rose to international prominence as a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Prior to her official debut, she trained under JYP Entertainment for several years and appeared in the 2015 reality survival show Sixteen, where she secured her spot in the group's final lineup.

Nayeon officially debuted with Twice in October 2015 with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins. Serving as one of the lead vocalists and center of the group, she contributed to Twice's rise as one of the top-selling K-pop girl groups globally. Beyond group activities, she established her career as a solo artist in June 2022 with the release of her debut EP, Im Nayeon. The project earned significant commercial success, reaching number one on South Korea's Circle Album Chart and making her the first South Korean solo artist to reach the top ten of the US Billboard 200 chart.

In June 2024, Nayeon released her second extended play, Na, which achieved further chart success domestically and internationally, including a top-ten placement on the Billboard 200. Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades both as a member of Twice and as a solo artist, while also collaborating with various international fashion and lifestyle brands. She continues to record and perform as both a solo artist and an active member of Twice.
