Kim Da-hyun

Kim Da-hyun, known mononymously as Dahyun, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress. Born on May 28, 1998, in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, she developed an interest in performance at a young age while singing in a church choir. She gained public attention after participating in the 2015 reality survival television competition Sixteen, which was created by JYP Entertainment to select the members of a new girl group.

In October 2015, Kim officially debuted as a member of Twice with the release of the extended play The Story Begins. As part of the nine-member ensemble, she serves as a vocalist and rapper. Twice achieved widespread commercial success across Asia and internationally, releasing multiple studio albums, extended plays, and hit singles in both Korean and Japanese. Kim has also established herself as a lyricist, writing and co-writing several tracks across Twice's discography.

Beyond her musical releases with Twice, Kim has engaged in a variety of individual endeavors. She has made numerous appearances on Korean variety and entertainment television programs, frequently serving as a guest or special presenter. In fashion, she has collaborated with international luxury and cosmetics brands, attending global fashion events and starring in promotional campaigns.

Kim later expanded her focus toward acting, making her feature film debut in the South Korean adaptation of You Are the Apple of My Eye. She followed her debut with roles in additional screen projects, including the independent film Run to You and the television series Love Me. She continues to maintain an active schedule balancing group promotions with Twice alongside individual acting and promotional activities.
