Park Ji-hyo

Park Ji-hyo, known mononymously as Jihyo, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. She is best known as the leader and main vocalist of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed by JYP Entertainment. Born Park Ji-soo on February 1, 1997, in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, she legally changed her name to Park Ji-hyo prior to her official music debut.

After winning second place in a child role competition on Junior Naver, Park joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee in July 2005. She underwent more than ten years of training before participating in the 2015 reality survival show Sixteen, through which she was selected as a member of Twice. The nine-member group debuted in October 2015 with the extended play The Story Begins. Over the years, Twice emerged as one of the most commercially successful K-pop acts, earning numerous accolades and releasing chart-topping releases across South Korea, Japan, and internationally.

In addition to her contributions to Twice's music as a lyricist and composer, Park launched her solo career in August 2023 with the release of her debut mini-album, Zone, led by the single "Killin' Me Good." The EP topped the Circle Album Chart in South Korea and landed on the Billboard 200. She has also contributed original soundtrack songs for various Korean television series. Park continues to perform actively as both a solo artist and the leader of Twice.
