Bea Alonzo

Phylbert Angelli Escalante Ranollo-Co, known professionally as Bea Alonzo, is a prominent Filipino actress. Born Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom, she has established herself as one of the highest-grossing stars in Philippine cinema history, with her feature films accumulating over 3.15 billion pesos at the box office. She is widely recognized for her leading roles in romantic comedies, romantic drama films, and major television series.

Alonzo was born on October 17, 1987, in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines, to Philip Fagestrom, a British father, and Mary Anne Escalante Ranollo. Following her parents' separation, she was raised alongside a younger brother on her mother's side.

In 2002, she began her acting career as a teenager on the television series K2BU. She achieved early fame through an on-screen partnership with John Lloyd Cruz in series such as Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay and It Might Be You. The pair subsequently starred in a sequence of successful romantic films, including My First Romance, Now That I Have You, All About Love, and Close to You. Alonzo also played Jinkee Pacquiao in the 2006 biographical film Pacquiao: The Movie and appeared in prominent television projects like Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin and Maging Sino Ka Man. Her role in the 2007 romantic film One More Chance earned her the Box-Office Queen Award and several major acting nominations. Around the same period, she released a music album titled The Real Me and starred in the title role of I Love Betty La Fea.

Throughout the subsequent decade, Alonzo led numerous box-office successes, including And I Love You So, Miss You like Crazy, Sa 'Yo Lamang, Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak!, The Mistress, 24/7 in Love, Four Sisters and a Wedding, She's the One, and A Second Chance. Her filmography further expanded with top-grossing titles such as The Love Affair, How to Be Yours, Kasal, and First Love. On television, she headlined popular series including Magkaribal, Guns and Roses, A Beautiful Affair, Sana Bukas Pa ang Kahapon, and A Love to Last.

In 2019, Alonzo starred in the horror movie Eerie and the drama Unbreakable, while enrolling in film screenwriting workshops under Ricky Lee and receiving recognition from Variety and IFFAM. After cameo appearances in Fan Girl and Four Sisters Before the Wedding, she signed with GMA Network in 2021 following nearly nineteen years with ABS-CBN. Her subsequent television projects with the network include Start-Up PH, Love Before Sunrise, and Widow's War.

Beyond her entertainment career, Alonzo operates several business ventures, including the lifestyle brand BASH Manila, Beati Farm in Zambales, and a Dean and DeLuca franchise in Quezon City. After acquiring property in Madrid, she secured permanent residency status in Spain. Following past public relationships with actors Miko Palanca, Jake Cuenca, Zanjoe Marudo, Gerald Anderson, and Dominic Roque, she married Puregold president Vincent Co in a civil ceremony in July 2026. On her personal channel, she has also shared her health experiences with polycystic ovary syndrome and hypothyroidism.
