Seungmin

Kim Seung-min, known mononymously as Seungmin, is a South Korean singer and a member of the K-pop boy group Stray Kids, managed by JYP Entertainment. Born on September 22, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea, he serves as a lead vocalist for the group. Seungmin initially aspired to pursue a career in baseball during his youth before turning his focus toward music. He gained industry recognition after placing second in JYP Entertainment's 13th Open Audition in 2017, which led to his placement as a trainee and his participation in the 2017 reality survival program that formed Stray Kids.

He officially debuted with Stray Kids in March 2018 with the release of their mini-album I Am Not. Within the group, Seungmin is part of VocalRacha, the vocal-focused unit alongside bandmate I.N. Beyond group performances, album recordings, and world tours with Stray Kids, Seungmin expanded his television career by serving as a host for English-language music programs, including Arirang TV's After School Club in 2018 and KBS World's We K-Pop in 2019.

Seungmin has built a solid portfolio as a solo vocalist, earning particular recognition for his work on television original soundtracks. His soundtrack credits include Here Always for the drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha in 2021, Close to You for Love in Contract in 2022, Phobia for the webtoon series I'm the Queen in This Life, and Destiny for The Midnight Studio in 2024. Through Stray Kids' digital platforms, he regularly produces vocal covers and original songs as part of series such as SKZ-Record and his dedicated project, SONG by Seungmin, while continuing active group promotions.
