Bang Chan

Bang Chan is an Australian singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer based in South Korea. He is best known as the leader and primary producer of the K-pop boy band Stray Kids, which debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2018. Within the group, he is also part of 3Racha, an in-house hip-hop production unit alongside members Changbin and Han.

Born Christopher Chahn Bahng in Seoul, South Korea, he grew up in Sydney, Australia. He joined JYP Entertainment in 2010 after passing an audition in Australia and spent seven years as a trainee in South Korea. During his training period, he developed skills in songwriting and music production, co-founding 3Racha in 2016 to release independent music online before the group's official debut.

Throughout his career with Stray Kids, Bang Chan has co-written and produced much of the group's discography, contributing to numerous global chart-topping albums and singles. In addition to group projects, he has composed music for various soundtracks, television series, and brand collaborations, and he became a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) in 2023.

Bang Chan continues to be active as a recording artist, songwriter, and performer, participating in international concert tours, promotional releases, and high-profile fashion brand partnerships.
