Hanni Pham

Hanni Pham, born October 6, 2004, is an Australian singer and lyricist of Vietnamese descent based in South Korea. Raised in Melbourne, Victoria, she spent her early years developing a strong interest in music, dance, and musical instruments, including the ukulele, guitar, and piano. During her adolescence, she performed with local dance groups in Melbourne before moving to Seoul to train as a musical artist. In July 2021, she made an early screen appearance in the music video for the song "Permission to Dance" by BTS.

In July 2022, Hanni made her official debut as a member and vocalist in the South Korean girl group NewJeans, launched by the record label ADOR. The group gained immediate international attention with their surprise single "Attention" and their self-titled debut extended play released in August 2022. Beyond her vocal contributions, Hanni co-wrote the lyrics for several of the group's early hit tracks, including "Hype Boy" and "OMG," both of which achieved widespread commercial success and reached major international music charts.

As a member of NewJeans, Hanni participated in subsequent major music releases, including the 2023 extended play "Get Up," which reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. Outside of her music career, she expanded her profile into the fashion and beauty industries, securing high-profile global brand ambassadorships for major luxury fashion houses, including Gucci and Armani Beauty.

Hanni continues her creative activities as a singer, dancer, and lyricist in the music industry. Fluent in English, Korean, and conversational Vietnamese, she remains recognized as one of the prominent international K-pop figures who helped bridge cultural audiences across the globe.
