Kim Woo-jin

Kim Woo-jin, known mononymously as Kim Woojin or Woojin, is a South Korean singer and actor. Born on April 8, 1997, in Bucheon, South Korea, he attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul and trained under music agencies including SM Entertainment before joining JYP Entertainment. He first gained widespread public attention as a member of the K-pop boy group Stray Kids, which was formed through the 2017 Mnet survival reality show of the same name.

Kim debuted with Stray Kids in 2018 as one of the group's main vocalists. During his time with the group, he participated in several mini-album releases and musical projects before departing from the group and agency in late 2019 due to personal circumstances. Following his departure, he pursued solo activities, debuting as a solo artist in August 2021 with his first extended play, The Moment: A Minor.

In addition to his solo music career, Kim has expanded into acting and musical theater. He made his international screen debut with a leading role in the Brazilian fantasy romantic comedy series Alem do Guarda-Roupa (My Magic Closet). Over the course of his solo career, he has released additional extended plays, recorded songs for television soundtracks, and performed in live concerts and musical productions. Originally signed to 10x Entertainment for his solo endeavors, he subsequently signed under Kustomade, an imprint created under SM Entertainment's Kreation Music Rights division.
