Abbey Lee Kershaw, professionally known as Abbey Lee, is an Australian model, actress, and musician. Born on June 12, 1987, in Melbourne, Victoria, she rose to prominence in the late 2000s as a leading runway model. Recognized for her striking features, she was dubbed a supermodel by V magazine and listed as an Industry Icon by Models.com. Following a successful modeling career, she transitioned into acting, starring in several major feature films and television series.

Modeling Career

Growing up in Melbourne, Australia, Kershaw overcame childhood illness before pursuing fashion during her teenage years. Her career launched in 2004 upon winning the Girlfriend CoverGirl Model Search. After working with Chic Management in Sydney, she signed with Next Model Management in 2007 and relocated to New York City. Kershaw debuted internationally at New York Fashion Week in 2008, quickly becoming one of the runway's most booked models. Throughout her career, she has walked for fashion houses including Gucci, Chanel, Versace, and Alexander McQueen, while gracing covers for Vogue, Numéro, and V magazine.

Transition to Acting

On television, she earned acclaim for her role in the HBO drama Lovecraft Country and later co-starred in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller film Old (2021).

Beyond modeling and screen roles, Lee is a musician and visual artist. She performed as a vocalist and musician in the band Our Mountain alongside Matthew Hutchinson, releasing independent music tracks.
