Anja Rubik

Anja Rubik is a Polish supermodel, activist, and entrepreneur. Born in Rzeszow, Poland, she lived in several countries during her youth before embarking on a professional modeling career in the late 1990s. She rose to prominence in the mid-2000s, becoming one of the fashion industry's most recognizable figures and a frequent collaborator with prominent designers and luxury brands.

Over the course of her career, Rubik has walked the runways for major fashion houses, including Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Versace, and Alexander McQueen. She was a long-time muse for designer Karl Lagerfeld and creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Her portfolio includes numerous international magazine covers, such as various editions of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle, along with major beauty and fashion ad campaigns. Outside of print and runway work, she founded 25 Magazine in 2012, serving as its editor-in-chief, and has served as a creative consultant for various brands.

Rubik is also recognized for her social activism and philanthropic efforts. In 2017, she launched #sexedPL, an educational initiative designed to promote comprehensive, science-based sex education, relationships awareness, and bodily autonomy in Poland. The campaign evolved into a prominent foundation publishing educational materials and running nationwide public awareness campaigns. Additionally, Rubik serves as an ambassador for the ocean conservation organization Parley for the Oceans, advocating for environmental sustainability and marine protection on international platforms. She continues to divide her time between creative fashion projects and her social advocacy work.
