Toby Leonard Moore

Toby Leonard Moore is an Australian actor who has built a career across television and film. He is widely recognized for portraying Bryan Connerty in the Showtime drama series Billions and for playing James Wesley in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Daredevil and its continuation Daredevil: Born Again. Additionally, he appeared as Victor in the 2014 feature film John Wick.

Born in Sydney, Australia, in 1981, Moore is the son of voice actress Robyn Moore. During his youth, his family relocated to Hobart, Tasmania, where he completed his schooling at St Virgil's College. He initially began performing in local theatre productions in Hobart before pursuing formal training at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, graduating with an acting degree in 2005.

At the start of his professional acting career, Moore contributed English voice dubbing for various Chinese-language movies. His early screen appearances included a minor role in the Joss Whedon television series Dollhouse in 2009, followed by a recurring part in the 2010 World War II miniseries The Pacific.

Moore gained broader visibility in 2015 when he was cast in Daredevil as James Wesley, serving as the close associate and right-hand confidant to the character Wilson Fisk, a role he is set to reprise in Daredevil: Born Again. Shortly after, from 2016 through 2023, he played a central role as prosecutor Bryan Connerty throughout the run of Billions.

Alongside his work in major American productions, Moore has participated in Australian television projects, including a role in the 2021 SBS miniseries The Unusual Suspects. In his personal life, Moore is married to Australian actress Michelle Vergara Moore.
