Seo Joo-hyun

Seo Joo-hyun, known professionally by the stage name Seohyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress. Born on June 28, 1991, in Seoul, South Korea, she was scouted by talent agents as a child and eventually joined SM Entertainment. She gained international prominence as the youngest member of the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, which debuted in August 2007 and grew into one of the country's most prominent musical acts.

Throughout her music career with Girls' Generation, Seohyun performed on numerous hit records and major domestic and global tours. In 2012, she formed the group's sub-unit, Girls' Generation-TTS, alongside fellow members Taeyeon and Tiffany, releasing the mini-album Twinkle. She made her official debut as a solo recording artist in January 2017 with the release of her extended play Don't Say No, for which she also contributed lyrics.

In addition to her singing career, Seohyun has established a notable acting career in television, film, and musical theater. Her television drama appearances include roles in Passionate Love, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Bad Thief, Good Thief, Time, Private Lives, and Jinxed at First. Her film work includes starring in Love and Leashes, and her stage musical credits include lead roles in productions such as Moon Embracing the Sun, Gone with the Wind, and Mamma Mia!

Seohyun graduated from Dongguk University with a degree in theater studies. Beyond her artistic work, she has served as a goodwill ambassador for various social and charitable organizations. She continues to work actively as an actress and musician across film, television, and pop music.
