Kim Hyo-yeon

Kim Hyo-yeon, born September 22, 1989, in Incheon, South Korea, is a South Korean singer, dancer, rapper, and DJ. She is best known as a main dancer and vocalist for the girl group Girls' Generation, which debuted under SM Entertainment in August 2007. Recognized for her performance skills, she joined SM Entertainment as a trainee at a young age after passing an audition and undergoing years of intensive training in various dance styles, including hip-hop, popping, and locking.

With Girls' Generation, Kim achieved international commercial success through hit singles such as "Gee," "Genie," and "I Got a Boy." The group became one of the best-selling and most influential Korean music acts of all time. Alongside main group promotions, she has participated in several SM Entertainment sub-units and project groups, including Girls' Generation-Oh!GG and the project unit Got the Beat.

Kim launched her solo career with the single "Mystery" in 2016, followed by "Wannabe" in 2017. In 2018, she began performing under the stage name DJ HYO, making her DJ debut with the release of the single "Sober."
