Tiffany Young

Tiffany Young, born Stephanie Young Hwang in San Francisco, California, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Raised in California, she was scouted by SM Entertainment at fifteen and relocated to South Korea to undergo training. She initially rose to global prominence in 2007 as a member of the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, which became one of the best-selling pop acts in South Korea. She also performed as part of its subgroup, Girls' Generation-TTS.

Young launched her official solo career in May 2016 with the release of her debut mini-album, I Just Wanna Dance. Following her departure from SM Entertainment in late 2017 while remaining a member of Girls' Generation, she adopted the stage name Tiffany Young for her international music releases. She signed with U.S. and South Korean agencies, releasing American pop singles such as Over My Skin and her 2019 English extended play, Lips on Lips.

In addition to her recording career, Young has expanded into acting and television hosting. She made her theatrical musical debut in South Korean productions of Chicago as Roxie Hart and performed roles in television drama series. Young continues to release solo music projects and collaborate across music, film, and television industries globally.
