Scott Eastwood

Scott Eastwood, born Scott Clinton Reeves on March 21, 1986, is an American actor. He is the son of Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood and flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in a wide variety of film projects, ranging from drama and biographical features to major action and science fiction blockbusters.

Eastwood was born at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey, California. He grew up in Carmel-by-the-Sea until age ten, at which point he relocated to Hawaii with his mother. He has a younger sister, Kathryn, and at least six half-siblings, including Kyle, Alison, and Francesca. Eastwood completed high school in 2003 and subsequently enrolled at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in communications in 2008.

At the start of his acting career, Eastwood performed under his given last name, Reeves, to avoid nepotism, despite the existence of another actor named Scott Reeves. He auditioned for many of his father's film projects, though he was turned down for a role in the Clint Eastwood-directed feature American Sniper. He nevertheless appeared in several of his father's movies, including Flags of Our Fathers in 2006, Gran Torino in 2008, Invictus in 2009—where he portrayed Joel Stransky—and Trouble with the Curve in 2012.

In April 2010, Eastwood secured the lead role in Enter Nowhere. He later appeared in Texas Chainsaw in 2013 and took on a supporting role in David Ayer's 2014 war film Fury. In 2015, he starred alongside Britt Robertson in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel The Longest Ride, and he also made an appearance in the music video for Taylor Swift's song "Wildest Dreams."

Eastwood expanded his public presence in 2016 by portraying Lieutenant GQ Edwards in Suicide Squad, an adaptation of the DC Comics series. That same year, he appeared alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley in Oliver Stone's biographical drama Snowden, released in September. In 2017, Eastwood played a special agent in the action feature The Fate of the Furious and starred in the thriller Overdrive, which was filmed in Paris and Marseille. He followed these projects in 2018 with a starring role as Nate Lambert in the science fiction sequel Pacific Rim Uprising.

Eastwood's subsequent acting credits include roles in The Outpost in 2020, Wrath of Man in 2021, Fast X in 2023, and 1992 in 2024. Outside of his acting work, Eastwood learned Brazilian jiu-jitsu after being introduced to martial arts by Paul Walker. In August 2017, he publicly discussed the death of his former girlfriend, Jewel Brangman, who was killed on September 7, 2014, when a faulty Takata airbag deployed during a minor traffic accident. In 2022, Eastwood spoke publicly about his career in Hollywood, comparing the experience to living in a circus and discussing his desire to start a family in the future.
