Alicia von Rittberg

Alicia Gräfin von Rittberg is a German actress born on December 10, 1993. She is known for her appearances in German television and film productions, as well as for roles in international projects.

Rittberg was raised in Munich alongside three brothers as a member of the formerly noble Rittberg family. During her early education, she attended a humanities-oriented Gymnasium. She later pursued higher education in corporate management and economics at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, where her bachelor's degree thesis was scheduled for completion in June 2017.

Her career in the film industry began in 2010 while she was still a student. Following numerous initial roles in German films and television series, she garnered early critical recognition for her work in German television.

In 2012, Rittberg starred as a foster child in the ZDF television film And all were silent. Her performance in the film earned her the Young Artist Award at the Bavarian Television Award in 2013.

Rittberg began gaining attention outside of Germany after appearing in the 2014 American war film Fury, directed by David Ayer, in which she played the brief role of Emma alongside actors Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, and Shia LaBeouf. She subsequently appeared in the 2016 spy thriller film Our Kind of Traitor, directed by Susanna White.

In 2017, she took on the lead role of Ida Lenze in the first season of the German television series Charité. Her performance in the series led to her receiving the 2017 Bambi Award in the category of German actress.

In 2022, Rittberg portrayed the young Elizabeth Tudor as the star of the historical drama series Becoming Elizabeth. Her career has also extended to the upcoming television series Queen Silvia.
