Logan Lerman

Logan Wade Lerman (born January 19, 1992) is an American actor. He began appearing in commercials in the mid-1990s before starring in the television series Jack & Bobby and films including The Butterfly Effect and Hoot. He gained further recognition playing the title character in the Percy Jackson film series, d'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, and starring in the coming-of-age drama The Perks of Being a Wallflower. His other notable work includes major roles in the films Noah, Fury, and Indignation, as well as the thriller series Hunters.

Lerman was born in Beverly Hills, California, to Lisa, who serves as his manager, and Larry Lerman, a businessman and orthotist. Raised in a Jewish family alongside an older sister and brother, he attended Beverly Hills High School. His family operates an orthotics and prosthetics company founded by his great-grandfather in 1915. In 2010, Lerman applied to study creative writing at New York University but postponed his attendance.

Lerman began auditioning in the late 1990s, debuting on film in 2000's The Patriot before appearing in What Women Want and Riding in Cars with Boys. In 2003, he starred in the television film A Painted House, winning a Young Artist Award. He earned a second Young Artist Award for his starring role in the series Jack & Bobby (2004–2005) and a third for his first feature lead role in Hoot (2006). During this period, he also appeared in The Butterfly Effect, The Number 23, 3:10 to Yuma, Meet Bill, Gamer, and My One and Only.

In 2010, Lerman achieved mainstream success as the lead in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, later reprising the role in the 2013 sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. He played d'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers (2011) and starred as Charlie in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), winning a Teen Choice Award. He subsequently appeared in Stuck in Love (2013), Noah (2014), and Fury (2014). In 2016, he starred in Indignation, which served as his executive producer debut.

Lerman executive produced and starred in The Vanishing of Sidney Hall (2017) and voiced Robert Conroy in the animated movie Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero (2018). From 2020 to 2023, he starred as Jonah Heidelbaum in the series Hunters. His subsequent film work includes roles in End of Sentence (2020), Shirley (2020), Bullet Train (2022), and Oh, Hi! (2025). He also co-produced the drama Press Play (2022) and was announced as a producer for Skincare (2023).

Outside of acting, Lerman created comedic short films for YouTube with actor Dean Collins. In 2006, the duo formed the band Indigo with musician Daniel Pashman, where Lerman played keyboard and guitar.
