Adria Arjona

Adria Arjona Torres is an actress who was born on April 25, 1992, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She spent her childhood in Mexico City until age twelve, frequently joining her father, Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona, on tour. Her mother, Leslie Torres, is Puerto Rican, and Arjona considers herself deeply connected to both cultural heritages. Following her parents' divorce, she relocated to Miami with her mother at age twelve and lived there until moving independently to New York City at eighteen. While pursuing acting training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she supported herself by working as a waitress and hostess.

Arjona began her screen career with television appearances, including playing Dani Silva in Person of Interest and Emily in the second season of True Detective. She secured larger television parts as Dorothy Gale in the Oz adaptation Emerald City and as Anathema Device in the miniseries Good Omens. During this period, she also took on film roles, featuring in Pacific Rim Uprising, Life of the Party, and Triple Frontier, before securing a prominent part in the feature 6 Underground.

Her film work continued with a supporting appearance alongside Jason Momoa in the Netflix release Sweet Girl. She was subsequently cast as the female lead Martine Bancroft in the feature film Morbius, directed by Daniel Espinosa. Beyond screen performances, Arjona expanded into brand partnerships in 2020, becoming the face of an advertising campaign for Giorgio Armani's My Way fragrance.

In television, Arjona joined the Star Wars franchise after being cast as Bix Caleen in the Disney+ series Andor, performing alongside Diego Luna. Her work in film progressed with a starring role alongside Andy Garcia in the remake of Father of the Bride, centered around a Cuban American family. She also served as both an actor and producer on the drama film Los Frikis, written and directed by Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz.

Arjona collaborated with Glen Powell in the action comedy Hit Man, contributing to the project's dialogue writing and scene storyboards. She went on to appear in Zoë Kravitz's directorial debut Blink Twice, secured a lead role in the television series Criminal, and gained critical praise at the Cannes Film Festival for her work in Splitsville. She was later cast in an undisclosed role for the DC Universe feature film Man of Tomorrow.

In her personal life, Arjona married Puerto Rican lawyer Edgardo Canales in Guatemala in August 2019, though the couple separated in 2023. As of 2024, she is in a relationship with actor Jason Momoa.
